Choosing the right fabric for your workout clothes is essential. The wrong fabric can make you feel hot, itchy, and uncomfortable, or even cause skin irritation.

Strong & Stylish, what to look for in the best fabrics for workout clothes:

  1. Moisture-wicking - Look for fabrics that wick away sweat from your skin and allow it to evaporate quickly. Moisture-wicking fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex are great choices for this, as they pull moisture away from the skin and keep you feeling dry and comfortable.
  2. Breathable - Breathable fabrics are essential for allowing air to circulate around your body and keeping you cool. Fabrics like cotton, or bamboo, I personally prefer bamboo.
  3. Stretchy - Stretchy fabrics like spandex or elastane are important for allowing freedom of movement during workouts.
  4. Durable - Workout clothes go through a lot of wear and tear, so look for fabrics that are durable and long-lasting. Fabrics like polyester, nylon, and spandex are great choices.
  5. Lightweight - Lightweight fabrics are ideal for workout clothes, as they won't weigh you down during your workout. Look for fabrics that are lightweight and airy, like polyester or some cotton blends.
  6. Anti-bacterial - Some fabrics have antibacterial properties that can help reduce odors caused by sweat. Bamboo and certain synthetic blends are known for their antibacterial properties.

Overall, I love Bamboo, but that is just me!

Strong & Stylish, ADORE.
